European Startup Prize for Mobility 2026 launches its call for sustainable mobility startups

The European Startup Prize for Mobility 2026 has launched its call for applications to identify and accelerate Europe’s most innovative startups in clean and sustainable mobility. Recognised as one of Europe’s leading acceleration programmes for mobility startups, the initiative provides access to investment, mentoring, international networking and visibility among institutions, corporations and investors.

The programme is led by Startupprize together with European and institutional partners, supporting innovative solutions in smart mobility, decarbonisation, electrification, sustainable logistics and clean transport technologies.

What does the call offer?

Selected startups will gain access to:

• Specialised acceleration and incubation programmes, delivered together with TUM Venture Labs Mobility.
• Investment and funding opportunities, including access to institutional investors, venture capital and corporate venture capital.
• Networking and collaboration opportunities with major European companies and open innovation departments.
• International visibility, media exposure and participation in the official award ceremony.
• Opportunities to engage with European institutions on the future of sustainable mobility.

Who should apply?

The call is aimed at:

• European startups and scaleups in the mobility sector.
• Innovative companies working in smart transport, urban mobility, logistics and sustainable mobility.
• Projects focused on clean technologies and the green transition.
• Entrepreneurial teams from EU countries and Horizon Europe associated countries.

TOP 30 and TOP 10 startups

Selected applicants will benefit from different levels of support:

• The TOP 30 startups will participate in a private Demo Day with European institutions and more than 50 VC and CVC funds.
• The TOP 10 startups will join an intensive acceleration and mentoring programme.
